Exercise is critical for the physical health and well-being of your dog and can dramatically improve your dog's bone and joint health as well as heart and lung functions.  Lack of exercise can greatly affect your dog's health and even shorten it's lifespan. 

Exercise is also critical for the proper mental health of your dog.  Dogs tend to be much calmer in the house and less destructive when they get plenty of exercise as they will from our daycare and leash jogs. Leash walks can also provide the exercise your dog needs to stay physically and mentally healthy. As many Hoboken residents who use our services will testify, enrollment makes a difference in almost all cases. Not only will you have a happier dog, but your dog will be mentally and physically healthier, which can lead to savings in veterinary and obedience training costs.  Don't worry if your dog has special needs or is on medication - we will make sure all of that is taken care of. Just let us know!

So how do you know if your dog gets enough exercise? Some people believe that to get adequate exercise all you need is a garden for your dog to run around in. That is not true because most dogs will not exercise when they are left outdoors by themselves. Instead they will spend their time lying around waiting for their owners to come home and play with them. This is why our daily services are so essential to the well-being of your dog. We will play with your dog and make sure that it gets maximum exercise, and of course, your dog will have lots of fun in the process. Water and plenty of toys are always on hand.

All day care dogs must be registered prior to arrival and be current on Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bortedella vaccinations. You may download and fill out our registration form prior to your arrival to save time if you prefer. The form can be brought to us in person, or faxed to our office.

Daycare

Dogs of all breeds love daycare. They enjoy hanging out and socializing with their friends just as much as we do with ours.  Daycare provides a structured schedule for your dog, complete with activities, nap time, snack time and play time.

Our customers notice a tremendous difference in the level of their dog's mood and happiness after just one day of play in our daycare.  There is plenty of open space, which gives your dog the opportunity to interact with other dogs, while running around and burning off plenty of pent-up energy. We also provide your dog with lots and lots of toys, swings, slides, balls and ropes for your dog to play with during his or her stay with us.  Fresh water is always available during play times and also during break times.

We limit the number of dogs in our daycare program so that we have a ratio of at least 1 caregiver per 10-12 dogs, and dogs are always under close supervision when playing together.  All dogs in our daycare undergo evaluations that include a health assessment, vaccination verification, and a temperament test to insure that the dog is social and comfortable in large groups. Each dog is then assigned to one of four large indoor play areas depending on the dog's size and temperament.

Leash Walks

Our leash walks are customized to each dog depending on that dog’s personality and are individual and private so that you don't have to worry about his or her safety or his or her health being around other possibly non-vaccinated dogs. We are sensitive to a dog’s special needs and understand that no two dogs are exactly alike. We will get to know your dog and provide leashed walks according to his or her needs. We always provide a note letting you know whether the dog has relieved him or herself and how he or she did during the walk.

So, if you hardly have the time to walk your dog and are looking for a dog walker who will quickly understand your dog as they take them out for leash walks, then look no further.  We are fully bonded and insured.

Rates:
20 minutes - $17 plus $3 for each additional sibling
40 minutes - $30 plus $5 for each additional sibling
Emergency Walks (same-day reservation) - $8 fee

Leash Runs

Our individual and private leash jogs/runs are tailored specifically for your high-energy dog. First, we pick him or her up from your apartment and begin running towards Sinatra Park. We stay there as long as possible before heading back to your apartment. While at your apartment, we make sure your dog drinks plenty of water and refill his or her water bowl. We always provide a note letting you know whether your dog has relieved him or herself and how he or she did during the run.

So if you’re interested in more exercise for your dog than a simple walk can provide, then look no further. We are fully bonded and insured.

Rate: 40 minutes - $30 plus $10 for each additional sibling

House/Pet Sitting

Our house/pet sitting service is designed to give you peace of mind while you are away for all of your pets, four-legged or otherwise. We know how stressful it can be when you are away and have left your pets alone in the apartment. There are so many things that can go wrong. Knowing this, peace of mind is difficult and chances are that even if you are on vacation, you will worry about what could go wrong.

Our house sitting service is designed to put your mind at ease. During each visit, we will take care of all your pets, including any birds or fish that you may have, and each visit for your dog or cat is much more than just a regular pet sitting. It includes walking, playing, cuddling and anything else to make your dog and cat as happy as possible. In addition to walking and feeding your pets, we can also take in your mail, take out your trash and water your plants, just to mention a few things. Just let us know how we can help take care of your house and your pets! We are fully bonded and insured.

Although we do not  currently offer cat boarding, we plan on providing this service in the near future with state-of-the-art luxury cat condos.  In the meantime, let our house/pet sitting services take care of your cat and check back soon for more information on our new cat condos!
